This year as Christmas gifts for the Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncle. I thought it would be cute for Landon to paint them each a painting. I thought how bad could it be, It can't get that messy Cant it? We had no problems painting the small ones. He enjoyed painting with his paint brushes with those. Now when it came to the bigger ones Boy was that an adventure. He painted with brushes, his hands, feet actually the whole body was involved. Yes it might have been messy but in the long run Landon had fun and was able to explore with his body. Plus Everyone loved there paintings so it was worth it.
Testing out the brushes.
Hmmm I wonder what this taste like?
The end result! (I know he doesn't look happy, that because he was mad at mom for not letting him run around the house with all that paint on him)

Christmas (A little late)
Happy New Year to all our Family and Friends!
The Avila's enjoyed there Christmas together. We started the day off with Landon opening the presents Santa left him. It was wonderful to watch his eyes beam as he ripped every little piece of paper until he could see what was behind it and then move on to the next present.
Then we headed to Grandma Hernandez's house to spend time with my Mom, My brother John and his girlfriend Jill, Grandpa and Uncle Jack. This time Landon could careless about ripping the wrapping paper it was all about the bows. We had lunch and enjoyed our time with my family but it was time to move on....
We ended our Christmas night over at Chris' parents house, to spend time with his parents and sister, and Lisa,Daniel,Chloe, and Nicholas. It was fun to watch Landon interact with the other children, especially Nicholas. It's amazing how little kids pick up on things so easily. Nick was making car sounds with his new cars he got for Christmas and wouldn't you know it the next day when I got out Landon's tonka cars he was rolling them back and forth trying to make those car sounds like Nick was making the night before. We can't believe how fast our little boy is growing.
As you can tell the Avila Family had a nice Christmas.
It's hard being Me!
