Landon turns 3!

Landon turned 3 on October 5, so we had a little get together with family and friends. Here are some pictures from that day.

Here is a picture of what Landon drew the other day on his easel. It's hard to believe but he did that all by himself. The only thing that Chris added was the eye. Other then that Landon drew a alligator head. Now only if we can get this boy to speak life would be good for the Avila family!

Grandpa turned 90!

On July 13th my Grandpa turned 90!

This man is a saint whenever you needed help no matter how bad it was, he was always there to bail you out. I spent most of my childhood living with my grandpa and I believe he played a great role in who I am today. I just want to take the time to say Thank-you Grandpa for letting us live with you and taking care of us. I know we didn't make it easy for you but John and I appreciate all that you have done for us. Hope you have another great year!

Long needed update

I'm BACK at least for now, I will try to do my best to keep this updated more often.

The Avila family has been busy the last couple of months. Landon is 99% potty trained! He pretty much trained himself. So with him being potty trained he gets to start preschool in August. I'm excited and sad at the same time. Hopefully with him in school it will help him talk. That's right my two year old boy still doesn't talk and it is driving mom and dad crazy.

For my birthday i gifted myself a Disneyland pass, so Landon and I have been spending our free time at the Happiest place on earth. It is so fun to watch his reaction when he finally sees where we are going, the expression on his face is priceless. The only down fall to us going so much is that every time he sees mickey mouse or the castle he points to the door and is ready to go.

A little boy is hungry so I will add some pictures of our adventures later.

Landon had his first pony ride today! At first he was not into but after watching the other children get their picture taken and ride he finally decided to give it a shot.

Who ever said Chocolate covered bones were just for dogs, never met Landon. Dixie got some for Christmas and has had to fight Landon for them. He likes to eat the chocolate off of it first and then gives the bone to Dixie. I guess he does not want Dixie putting on those extra pounds!

Exciting News

After Long Eight Years My Brother John Proposed to his Girlfriend Jill on Monday! Now Hopefully We Won't have to wait another Eight Years for the Wedding! Welcome to the Family Officially now Jill!
