We have a Walker!

Landon took his first steps on Thursday December 13! He didn't do it for Mommy or Daddy, he waited to show his Grandma Hernandez first. That little stinker.

We finally made it to see Santa. Landon was already, while waiting he would peek in and wave hello to Santa, but when it was his turn to sit down and have his picture taken he wanted nothing to do with Santa. So here is the best picture we got of him. After they took the offical picture you are allowed to take as many pictures you can in a minute, So Chris busted out the camera and tried and tried to get a good picture of Landon ourseleves. Mom even got in the picture and still Landon wanted to high tail it out of there.  So this is what we got.

Christmas Pictures

Here are Landon's Christmas pictures.  I'm not thrilled with the way the way they came out. The girl taking his pictures wanted him to do these weird poses  and well Landon was going to do his own thing as you can tell. Chris says Landon needs a Martini. These two would have to be my favorite.

Santa

So last Monday we had our annual tree trimming party at the preschool. Santa was going to be there, so I had Chris bring Landon and not have to deal with the crowd at the mall.  Landon was one of the first ones to see Santa....and boy did he not like it! He cried. We couldn't figure out though if he was scared of Santa or if there was just to much going in the room.  So here is the first try with Santa. We're heading to the mall on Sunday. Hope it doesn't turn out badly!

Landon's First Haircut.

 It was time for Landon to go have his first Haircut. Here are some of the before pictures.  The Little bump on his forehead is from Dixie our dog. Landon tried to sneak up on her and well she snapped at him and nicked his forehead.

Landon did really well for getting his haircut. No screaming or kicking like the little boy next to us. He just needed something to keep his attention away from the scissors since he wanted to help. So mommy sat there and blew bubbles at him during his haircut.  It is so amazing how something so little like a haircut can make our little boy not look like a baby anymore. Getting Ready for the BIG haircut! What is going on here?

Our Little Skeleton

Landon celebrated his second Halloween and this year we decided to dress him up. Chris and I couldn't come to an agreement on what he should be. I wanted some cute and cuddly and Chris wanted the masculine costume. So we came to an agreement and Landon was a skeleton.  I was pretty proud of myself his costume only cost me $2.50. I guess that's the perk you get when you wait til the last minute to go buy his costume.  We decided against taking Landon trick or treating this year, he is still to young and Mommy and Daddy don't need all that candy.  So instead we took him to the Lopez's house, Grandma Hernandez's work, but she wasn't there and ended our night at the Avila house for dinner.  Landon was in aw of the trick or treater's coming to the door. He just sat there and watched as everyone got there candy.

Learning to Brush his teeth

Landon has begun learning how to brush his Five teeth all on his own. He does such a good job, that he throws a tantrum when we try to take his toothbrush away. P.S Please bare with me on updates, I'm still trying to figure out how to add more then one picture at a time. Thanks

Landon is One!

Can you believe that it has been a year already? It just seems like yesterday that I was still pregnant with him.  Landon has grown up so fast in such a short amount of time.  He is cruising around the house, but doesn't have that confidence to walk on his own yet.
